“It gives me great pleasure to be able to support St Andrew’s Preparatory School as your Patron.

The future is in the hands of the children being educated today and scripture repeatedly exhorts us to bring up our children well, not only through imparting factual knowledge, but by teaching and training them in how to live well. In South Africa at present, there is no greater investment we can make for the future, than by providing a breadth of education that can develop the whole potential within each child of our nation. Therefore it is my delight to be a Patron of this initiative, and I strongly urge everyone to consider what contribution you can make towards the development of an Art and Technology Centre, and in support of the Children’s Arts Festival that St Andrew’s Prep school will host. I commend them for this outreach programme, designed to share widely the privileges they enjoy, among the communities around them.
